Some people take to coaching faster than others.  After two months of private coaching Dan has turned his game around. Though this is a project in progress you can see from the before and after photographs  that the correct techniques are starting to clearly develop.  On his forehand Dan has shortened his back swing and changed the angles of attack from a round path to a straighter (more parallel to the ball flight) swing resulting in a shot easier to time, easier to adjust on difficult balls and generally a more compact explosive shot.  And guess what? is works in matches to. Dan has also gone from a granny grip serve to full Continental. And if that's not miraculous enough he has also gone from a shovel backhand to roll backhand with a grip change (from forehand/dominant hand Conti Non Dominant) to Eastern Backhand Dom Hand/ eastern forehand non Dom hand and by accentuating the low to high forward path to the ball. He is currently playing his best tennis and we wish him luck with his new found game and the confidence that has come along with it. Brilliant Stuff! See you out there.
