HOW TO MAKE A TENNIS NOVELTY VEST

What you will need

One Mother/Mother in law

One sewing machine

Lots of clean old racket covers (vinyl) earlier than 85 you can get these at flee markets or perhaps a racket shop.

A vest that you can sew the covers onto (as a backing).

Whip to use on Mother in law in case the process is lagging.

Method

Cut out the main surfaces of the racket covers from the edging to leave a flat piece of material. 

Pin the piece to vest shaping with scissors as you go to add style and contour. 

Once you have several pieces in place run the sewing machine around the edges with a zig zag stitch to keep the pieces from moving around.

Once the vest is covered and checked you can use an over locker to give a great finish.
